Dear Faithful Friends

Thank you for your interest in and support of our ministry to the United Kingdom! I’m learning the importance of the body of Christ in an entirely new dimension these days! Let me brief you on a few things that God is doing in our behalf as I continue preparations for this bold new initiative in ministry.

  • First – Wednesday, January 31st will be my last day on the staff of the First Baptist Church of Pontiac. At the close of our mid-week activities that night, I’ll be free of my staff responsibilities there and will become a full-time missionary!
  • Second – my itinerary is filling, but I need your prayers as I complete every available date without spreading myself all over the country. I’m trying to concentrate my engagements in the eastern 1/3 of the United States, primarily in Michigan, Ohio, and along the I-75 corridor from Michigan to Florida, with a concentration also in Texas.
  • Third – three pastors in recent days have committed their church’s financial support, even though we’ve not been able to find a mutually agreeable date for me to be in their churches to present the ministry to England. A special thanks to pastors Bill Campbell (Texas), Joe Burress (New York), and Jim Combs (Michigan).
  • Fourth – although not every pastor and church that wants to support me financially can do so on a monthly basis, I’m eternally grateful for those who do a special gift now, with hopes of giving regular financial support in the future. Only today, Pastor Lee Huddleston of First Baptist Church in Redondo Beach, California, emailed to say they are sending a special gift of several hundred dollars.
  • Finally – another new dimension of the reality of my relocation to Great Britain hit several days ago as I was talking to a friend in southern Ohio. Jerry and Sue Harmeyer have been the directors of Camp Chautauqua for over 25 years. During our phone conversation, Jerry said, “Dale, we’ll give you $500 toward your shipping costs when you’re ready to go!”

Again, thanks for your interest and support of the new ministry challenge of God in my life!

Dale
